The Ladies of Charity of St. Stephen’s Parish and St. Rosalia's Parish continue the work of St, Vincent DePaul (started in 1617) of serving the poor of the Parish and Community, as well as the elderly, the sick, and others in need.
  • Our activities include remembering the sick and shut-ins of the Parish with visits, holiday and birthday cards and gifts.
  • In October we assist at Anointing the Sick Service of the Parish.
  • We also attend the Wake Services and Funerals of the Unclaimed Dead as well as the deceased of the Parish.
  • In November we join Ladies of Charity from the Diocese in placing a wreath at Calvary Cemetery for the Unclaimed Dead.
  • We also serve the poor of other countries through participating in the sale of items made in those countries by craftsmen and small business ventures in a “Fair Trade Market” project of Catholic Relief Services internationally.
  • We help with Fishes & Loaves Cooperative Ministries and support the St. Rosalia Food Pantry
  • At different times during the year we spend some time together in a retreat setting for a day of prayer and quiet.

All Women of these Parishes are invited to join us. To contact the Ladies of Charity click HERE or call 412-414-1969
